The <br /> reporting limit is the lowest concentration that the laboratory <br /> will report quantitative data with statistical confidence. Table <br /> B-5 should be revised to list the reporting limits. <br /> 5. Certification of the Analytical Laboratory <br /> In accordance with the California Code of Regulations <br /> Title 22 , Division 4 , Article 9, Sections 64481 through 64501, <br /> the analytical laboratory must be certified by the State of <br /> California for all of the requested analyses. The Report does <br /> not state if Environmental Science and Engineering (ESE) <br /> Laboratory in Gainesville, Florida is certified by the State of <br /> California for all of the analyses performed. <br /> Recommendations <br /> The Report should clarify if ESE Laboratory is certified by <br /> the State of California. If ESE Laboratory is not certified, the <br /> analyzing laboratory must be changed to a laboratory that is <br /> certified by the State of California. <br /> 6. Status of Monitoring Wells with Limited to No Historical <br /> Data <br /> Several monitoring wells (including LM-9A, LM-10A, LM-44A, <br /> LM-45A, LM-46A, LM-112A, and LM-113A) are not included in future <br /> ground water sampling rounds. In addition, there are very <br /> limited to no historical data from these wells presented in the <br /> 1993 annual data summary and historical data tables. The future <br /> use or useability of these wells is not addressed in the Report. <br /> Recommendations <br /> The Report should clarify if there are historical data <br /> available for the identified wells, why the wells were not <br /> sampled during the 1993 annual monitoring program, and the <br /> proposed future use, if any, of the wells. The Report should <br /> state if the wells are dry, used for collection of only water <br /> level data, proposed for decommissioning, or proposed for other <br /> uses.
