PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION <br /> Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer �q ;P <br /> FORD <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> 209/468-3420 <br /> June 29, 2000 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an INTERIM CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN for <br /> possible soil contamination from the underground storage tank systems (USTs) located <br /> at 445 Stockton Street, Stockton has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). The plan is a proposal to <br /> excavate the soil which may have been contaminated from unauthorized releases from <br /> the USTs which were located on the property. <br /> PHS/EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with <br /> California Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and California Code of <br /> Regulations Corrective Action Requirements, and that the resultant work will not create <br /> significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from <br /> cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The remediation plan is available for public review at PHS/EHD, 304 E. Weber Avenue, <br /> Stockton during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Final PHS/EHD <br /> approval for the plan is scheduled for July 7, 2000. <br /> Questions regarding the specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to <br /> Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS, at (209) 468-3449 or sent in writing to her at 304 <br /> E.
