This is to notify you that Section 25297.15 (a) has been added to Chapter 6.7 of <br /> the Health and Safety Code. This section includes a requirement that PHS/EHD (local <br /> agency) not issue a closure letter, or make a determination that no further action is ! <br /> required with respect to"hazardous substance" underground storage tank release sites <br /> unless all current record owner of fee title to the site have'been notified of the proposed <br /> action by the primary or active responsible party. <br /> Please provide PHS/EHD certification in writing that all record fee title owners have been <br /> notified of your request for closure. Submit a list of all the'{record fee title owners with <br /> their mailing addresses to PHS/EHD so they can be notified of our intent to issue a <br /> closure letter. If you are the sole property owner, provide!a statement of that fact to <br /> PHS/EHD, to fulfil this requirement.
