Soil samples will also be collected at up to three of the six locations. Proposed sample <br /> locations are shown on the attached Figure 1, and a summary of the analytical program is <br /> included as Table 1. Field procedures as described below will be performed in accordance with <br /> all applicable San Joaquin County Ordinance Codes and/or Standards and State and/or Federal <br /> Laws and Regulations. The Site is a former paper products facility, currently unoccupied. The <br /> purpose of the investigation described below is to evaluate the presence of chemicals in soil gas <br /> and groundwater in the context of litigation. An environmental regulatory agency is not <br /> involved with the investigation. <br /> Field Preparations <br /> Prior to sampling, a project Health and Safety Plan will be prepared in accordance with <br /> California OSHA requirements. <br /> The sample locations will be marked:on the ground with white paint and Underground Service <br /> Alert (USA) North(1-800-227-2600) will be notified at least two business days before sampling <br /> begins.
