Upon completion of the <br /> boreholes, all residual soil cuttings and sample liners will be contained in another 55•- <br /> gallon drum, The drums will be left onsite pending analytical results. ARCADIS <br /> Geraghty&Miller will assist in the appropriate disposal of the rinseate water,soil <br /> cuttings, and related materials. <br /> Upon completion of the field activities,the boreholes will be abandoned by <br /> backfilling them with a cement/bentonite mixture, <br /> Soil samples from the approximately 1-foot depth will be analyzed for a TPH scan <br /> (United States Environmental Protection Agency [USBPAJ Method 8015,modified), <br /> CAM 17 metals(USEPA Method 6010),and VOCs (USEPA Method 8260). Deeper <br /> soil samples will be analyzed for a TPH scan and VOCs, The deeper soil samples <br /> may also be analyzed for metals if elevated metals concentrations are detected in the <br /> shallow soil sample from a given borehole. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this work plant or require any further <br /> information,please do not hesitate to call Mark Becker at the number listed.
