(Dopaco) Area of 800 West Church Street in Stockton, California (the "Site"). A site
location map is provided as Figure 1. This Work Plan was prepared on behalf of Cascades, Inc.
(Cascades) by Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. (Geosyntec) for the purpose of delineating the depth of
toluene impact to groundwater in the toluene source zone.
BACKGROUND
i
In the July-August 2013 Additional Investigation Report', Geosyntec documented detections of
toluene in grab groundwater samples from within the CPT-13 area (i.e., the secondary source
area) that were collected at depths up to 85 feet below ground surface (ft bgs). Cross-
contamination of these groundwater samples by shallow, toluene-impacted soil and groundwater
was suspected. At present, toluene in groundwater was not been delineated with respect to depth
in the secondary source area. In order to delineate the vertical extent of toluene in groundwater,
Geosyntec recommended that a groundwater monitoring well (DMW-5B) be installed near CPT-
I
Geosyntec,2013a.July-August 2013 Additional Investigation Report,Dopaco,Inc.Area,800 West Church Street,
Stockton,California 95203.Geotracker ID T10000003890.30 September.
DMW-513 Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan
engineers I scientists I innovators
