One of the <br /> buckets was labeled"Hazardous Waste." <br /> -Near the entrance to the backyard, eight 5 gallon plastic buckets contained an unknown material. Next to the <br /> buckets was one 1 gallon drain pan which contained a saturated dirt. <br /> -Near the back end of the backyard, one 5 gallon container held an unknown material. Next to the container were <br /> two 5 gallon containers, one 3 gallon container, and one 5 gallon plastic bucket holding oily liquids. <br /> Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a <br /> complete hazardous waste determination for the wastes listed above and manage them according to Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a)Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for used oil, used antifreeze, oily absorbent, used <br /> oil filters,and metal fines were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests <br /> signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three <br /> years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last <br /> three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used oil and used antifreeze were not found on site. Hazardous <br /> waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review.
