Hazmat Disposal Bucket Program 7/1/2016 <br /> Hazmat Disposal Bucket Program <br /> The following sections provide the details of the Hazmat Disposal Bucket Program and the procedures <br /> that each Tractor Supply store must follow. <br /> Setup the • Each Tractor Supply store must set up and maintain a staging area where you <br /> Staging Area will keep the calor-coded buckets. It is preferred that this area be near the <br /> Receiver's Desk. <br /> • This area must be easily accessible and kept free from clutter(do not block <br /> access to the buckets). <br /> • NEVER allow products to accumulate in the staging area. All products must be <br /> lagged and placed in a bucket or contain a hazardous waste accumulation label. <br /> • Buckets must be placed on a two tiered gondola in the order as shown below. A <br /> color label can be out on the shelf to identify the proper location of each bucket <br /> (see below). <br /> • This binder will hold the Bucket Program documents. <br /> • Other Supplies: <br /> 1. Clear plastic bags (Supply Chest item #TSC1300278) <br /> 2. Oil absorbent only(store use sku#0800989) <br /> Staging Area <br /> Example- Binder <br /> Battery Recycling Kit <br /> (box& bucket) <br /> NOTE: The buckets must be LlOV E -= <br /> placed in the order as shown <br /> with the labels pointing out <br /> • Each store will have (12)5-gallon buckets;consisting of 6 primary and 6 spare <br /> Buckets buckets. <br /> • The spare buckets will be available once a primary bucket fills up. The store will <br /> screw the lid closed prior to utilizing a new colored bucket.The spare buckets can <br /> be nested and put up out of the way until needed (Do not label these buckets <br /> until needed). <br /> • Each store will also have(1)3.5-gallon battery recycling bucket&the shipping box <br /> (refer to Battery Recycling tab). DO NOT THROW the shipping box away as it will <br /> be needed when returning the batteries. <br /> • STORES CANNOT USE ANY OTHER BUCKETS EXCEPT THE ONE AVAILABLE IN THE SUPPLY CHEST <br /> (TSC1400348). <br /> 3 <br />
