Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:8 dead cockroaches are observed in one of the front cabinets at the bottom shelf. Clean and sanitize <br /> shelf with chlorine 100 ppm today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #45 Floors,Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS: I observe food debris and build up underneath the front 3 comp sink and at the front ice cream unit. <br /> Detail clean today and as needed. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth,durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Last service is done <br /> 10-17-18 <br /> I observed 8 sticky baits set by EcoLab; 2 underneath the display freezer, 1 underneath the storage shelves, 1 at the front <br /> counter by the prep table, 2 in employees rest room and 2 in back.
