SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> AAA MACHINE 1414-A W FREMONT ST, STOCKTON June 04, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Six 5 gallon buckets were observed near the rear door of the shop without hazardous waste labels or accumulation <br /> start dates. The owner stated these buckets contained used oil.A paper filter was observed without a label or <br /> accumulation start date. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed <br /> 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Six 5 gallon buckets containing used oil located near the rear shop door did not have hazardous waste labels.A <br /> paper oil filter was observed not in a container and without a label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked <br /> with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br /> dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Several used oil filters were observed throughout the shop. Filters were not in labeled and in closed containers.There <br /> were no bills of lading for recycled used oil filters. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a <br /> closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. <br /> Immediately label, containerize, and recycle used oil filters. Keep a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for <br /> three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
