Additional emergency response equipment is also readily available from <br /> the Livermore Site, including release response equipment, response vehicles and heavy <br /> equipment, site safety equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination <br /> equipment, emergency assembly point kits, and Material Safety Data Sheets(MSDSs). <br /> When requested,the RHWM provides equipment and personnel to support the IC (Fire Chief) <br /> for release containment and cleanup during large incidents. The RHWM maintains a ready <br /> supply of emergency response equipment in a specially equipped release response trailer. CSA <br /> emergency equipment is described below in Table I-3-3, and Figure 1-3-2 shows the location of <br /> emergency equipment associated with the CSA. <br /> 1.3.4.1 Assembly Point Kit <br /> Protective and emergency equipment is stored in the Self-help Kit located at the evacuation <br /> assembly point between and on the south side of Building 874 and 879.The kit contains first-aid <br /> equipment, including a first-aid kit, blankets, and a stretcher. It also includes flashlights, safety <br /> glasses, gloves (plastic, leather, and cotton),and hard hats among other items. <br /> 1-3.4.2 CSA Spill Response Equipment <br /> The CSA maintains a hazardous waste spill kit equipped with two bags of drysorb; acid and <br /> caustic neutralizer kits; one bag of bicarbonate of soda; pH paper;barrel pump; shovel and <br /> broom; assorted tools;disposable coveralls and aprons; bags; face shields;booties; gloves <br /> (neoprene, leather, viton,mortician, and surgeon); and sample bottles. A list of contents for the <br /> spill kit located at the B883 CSA Facility is included in Table I-3-3. <br /> A trailer containing bulk emergency release response equipment is also maintained in the <br /> vicinity of the Facility.
