In the PE 2546 ALANIZ <br /> 162 min early morning on 4/23/2019, a fire broke out in California Pallets located at 235 W SC 007 <br /> Scotts Ave Stockton, CA 95203. Discussed fire with Backus and Muniappa Naidu. <br /> Left for the site at 9:00 a.m. and arrived at 9:18 a.m. Met with the Incident <br /> Commander, Brad Palmer. I informed him who I was. He said that I was not <br /> needed at that time but that I could look around in the entrance area to where the <br /> fire was being put out. Fire suppression runoff was observed on Scotts Ave. <br /> Next door to California Pallets was Masonite. Met with a manager of Masonite, <br /> Rich Wilson(209-470-8094, rwilson@masonite.com). He informed me that the <br /> chemical storage area at Masonite was not affected by the fire. A plant that had <br /> files and rails was burned down but it only contained a small amount of lubricants <br /> and cleaning materials. <br /> A firefighter informed me that the fire was stopped at Knife River located at 400 S <br /> Lincoln St, Stockton, CA 95203 <br /> Received a call and left the site at 10:00 a.m. <br /> Got back to the office and filled out a complaint form. Researched the <br /> surrounding facilities. California Pallets has 240 gallons of liquefied petroleum gas <br /> at their facility. <br /> 04/29/2019 Called Knife River environmental contact in CERS, Michael Brentt ,(209) 639-5513 PE 2546 ALANIZ <br /> 18 min to discuss if any hazardous waste/material was affected by the fire. SC 007 <br /> Called and left a message. <br /> 05/28/2019 Called Erik Schultz (510-209-0119), environmental contact in CERS for California PE 2546 ALANIZ <br /> 36 min Pallets CO, and confirmed that there were no other chemicals (besides propane) SC 007 <br /> that would have burned in the fire. All of the warehouses were made out of wood <br /> and they only stored wood. On an earlier date, I spoke with Michael Brentt, <br /> environmental contact in CERS for Knife River, and confirmed that no chemicals <br /> had burned. On the day of the fire, I spoke with representatives of Masonite and <br /> confirmed that the chemical storage area was not affected by the fire. After <br /> discussing with Garrett Backus, it was determined that the complaint could be <br /> abated. <br /> Created photo log. <br /> Abated complaint and gave to Garrett Backus, Lead Senior, for review. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
