CV7ATC
• A S S O C I A T E S 1 N C
The groundwater analytical results measured at monitoring well MW3 showed detectable
concentrations of TPHg at 350 pg/L, benzene at 1 1 pg/L, ethylbenzene at 12 pg/L, and xylenes
at 13 pg/L
The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for benzene, 1 pg/L, was exceeded at monitoring
wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 which had detected concentrations of 30 pg/L, 2 4 pg/L and 1 1
pg/L, respectively
GROUNDWATER FLOW DIRECTION
Water level measurements were collected from monitoring wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 on
June 7, 2002 Water level elevations ranged from 37 51 to 37 58, representing an average
decrease 1n water table elevation of approximately 0 04 feet since March 2002 The water level
data were used to develop the groundwater elevation contour map (Figure 3) Assuming that
horizontal isotropic conditions prevail, groundwater in the uppermost aquifer beneath the site
flowed towards the northeast The average hydraulic gradient on June 7, 2002 was calculated to
be 0 0011 or approximately 6 ft/mile A summary of groundwater monitoring data is presented
1n Table 1
CONCLUSIONS
• Groundwater flow direction and gradient is consistent with previous sampling events Water
table elevations have increased slightly since the March 2002 monitoring event Groundwater
analytical results remained within historical parameters as set by previous groundwater analytical
results
w lwordpro1149811Reportsl2QR-02 doc 3
