(:V
A S S O C I A T E S I N C
The groundwater analytical results measured at monitoring well MW3 showed detectable
concentrations of TPHg at 460 µg/L, benzene at 1 7 lig/L, toluene at 0 7 gg/L, ethylbenzene at
1 5 µg/L, and xylenes at 2 5 µg/L
The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for benzene, 1 pg/L, was exceeded at monitoring
wells NMI, MW2, and MW3 which had detected concentrations of 34 pg/L., 19 µg/L and 17
pg/L, respectively
GROUNDWATER FLOW DIRECTION
Water level measurements were collected from monitoring wells MW 1, MW2, and MW3 on
March 6, 2002 Water level elevations ranged from 37 57 to 37 60, representing an average
increase in water table elevation of approximately 125 feet since December 2001 The water
level data were used to develop the groundwater elevation contour map (Figure 3) Assuming
that horizontal isotropic conditions prevail, groundwater in the uppermost aquifer beneath the
site flowed towards the northeast The average hydraulic gradient on March 6, 2002 was
calculated to be 0 0004 or approximately 2 ft/mile A summary of groundwater monitoring data
is presented in Table 1
CONCLUSIONS
• Groundwater flow direction and gradient is consistent with previous sampling events Water
table elevations have increased slightly since the December 2001 monitoring event
Groundwater analytical results remained within historical parameters as set by previous
groundwater analytical results
w\wordpro1149811Repor1sAQR-02 doc 3
