N F E L o E R <br /> May 18, 1995 <br /> i <br /> • Samples were collected after purging by decanting samples from the disposable bailer <br /> directly into bottles provided by the analytical laboratory <br /> • Samples requiring filtration were filtered in-line, directly from the disposable bailers, <br /> using a positive pressure hand pump and a 0 45-micron high capacity field filter <br /> • Groundwater samples were decanted directly from the filter attached to the bottom of <br /> the disposable bailer into bottles provided by the analytical laboratory <br /> A record of the field parameter readings obtained are listed on the Purge Characterization <br /> and Sample Log, copies of which are provided in Appendix A <br /> LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> The groundwater sample from monitoring well MW-3 was labeled and placed in an iced <br /> sample container The sample was transported by the field personnel to the Klemfelder <br /> office in Stockton and then transported by couner in a sealed container to APPL, Inc in <br /> Fresno, California ADPL, Inc is certified by the State of California Department of Toxac <br /> Substance Control for the analyses performed The sample was transported under chain- <br /> of-custody documentation <br /> The groundwater sample was analyzed for <br /> o Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Purgeable (Gasoline Range) by EPA Method <br /> 8015M/5030 [TPH-G] <br /> ® Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Xylenes by EPA Method 8020/5030 [BTEX] <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as referenced to gasoline [TPH-G], and Benzene, Toluene, <br /> Ethylbenzene, and Total Xylenes [BTEX] were detected in the water sample collected <br /> from MW-3 at 1,700µg11, 18µg/1, 26µg11, and 81µg11, respectively The groundwater <br /> gradient direction, based on calculations and contours, flows toward the north/northeast <br /> For additional information regarding the analytical results for the groundwater sample <br /> obtained from well MW-3, please refer to the chain-of-custody and laboratory data sheets <br /> in Appendix B <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> • Kleinfelder recommends that a copy of this report be submitted to the State of California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Public <br /> DH and WG95 Page 3 of 4 May 18, 1995 <br /> 20-3769-01 01995,Kleinfelder, Inc <br />
