INTRODUCTION w <br /> At the request of Ms Tina Mayhew of West Clay Properties, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc -! <br />' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 639 West CIay Street, Stockton, <br /> California Ground water monitoring was performed on 28 May 1999 A sensitive receptor survey <br />' was performed The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1- Location Map <br /> Structures, well and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan <br />' The quarterly report is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />' Background information is summarized in the Quarterly Monitoring Report and Data Summary - <br /> December 1997, prepared by AGE <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> lie Six single-completed and two dual-completed ground water monitoring wells were purged and <br /> sampled on 28 May 1999 Field work was performed in accordance with PHS-EHD and CVRWQCB <br />' guidelines for the investigation of UST sites <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 28 May 1999, a Solanst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in each , <br /> well relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were <br /> determined from these data (Table 1) <br />' After recording water level measurements, a two-stage submersible pump was used to,purge each <br /> monitoring well of standing water Monitoring well MW-6B was'purged dry after approximately 9 5 <br /> gallons of water was removed Approximately 10 to 20 gallons of water were removed from each <br />' of the remaining wells For wells with ground water above the screened interval, ground water was <br /> purged from near the top of the water column to remove water trapped within the screened interval <br />' of the well casings Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular <br /> intervals during purging using an ICM water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in <br /> Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums <br /> • t <br /> r , <br /> t <br /> Advanced GeoEm rronmental,Inc <br />
