TPH-d was detected in samples collected from MW-1, MW-2, MW-9, MW-10, MW-11A,
' MW-11B,MW-14B,MW-15A,MW-15B,EW-1 and EW-2 at concentrations as high as 7,100 µg/1
' BTEX compounds were detected in samples MW-1,MW-2,MW-10,EW-1 and EW-2 at maximum
concentrations of 620 µg/1 benzene, 1,300 µg/1 toluene, 800 µg11 ethylbenzene and 3,100 µg/1
' xylenes, in the sample from EW-1
MTBE was detected in the water samples collected from MW-9, MW-10, MW-11B, MW-12B,
' MW-13(A and B), MW-14B and EW-1 at concentrations ranging from 5 8 µg/1 (MW-13A) to
250 µg/l (EW-1) TBA was detected in the water samples collected from MW-6B and MW-14B at
concentrations of 9 8 µg/1 and 11 µg/1, respectively Water samples analyzed from MW-1, MW-2,
' MW-5,MW-6B,MW-7,MW-8A,MW-11B,MW-12B,MW-13B,MW-14B and EW-2 contained
detectable concentrations of 1,2-DCA ranging from 0 54 µg/1 (MW-8A) to 24 µg/1 (MW-14B)
Concentrations ofDIPE,ETBE,TAME and EDB were not detected above laboratory reporting limits
' in any of the water samples collected during the December 2002 monitoring event
Analytical results of water samples'collected during the fourth quarter of 2002 are summarized on
lie Table 2 and 3, analytical results from previous monitoring events are summarized on Tables 4 and "
' 4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
' Based on the data collected from the former UST cluster area, AGE finds '
• Target analytes were not detected above laboratory reporting limits in the soil samples
collected from pilot borings MW-14B and MW-15B I
• The ground water flow in the area of the former UST cluster was in an inward-radiating
pattern, with-a`net flow towards the-east-northeast in the upper monitored interval and- -
towards the east in the lower monitored interval
• TPH-g was detected in ground water samples collected from MW-10 and EW-1 at
concentrations of 700 µg/1 and 14,000 µg/, respectively TPH-d was detected in samples .
collected from MW-9,MW-10, MW-11(A and B), MW-14B,MW-15(A and B) and EW-1
at concentrations as high as 7,100 µg/1 (MW-10)
' BTEX compounds were detected in water samples collected from MW-10 and EW-1 The
• maximum BTEX concentrations were detected in the sample from EW-1,,however the
