�� ' <br /> File No. 20-3769-01 KLEiNFELDER <br /> March 16, 1994 <br /> • Lithologic logs <br /> • Tabulated results of soil and groundwater samples with copies of certified results <br /> • A groundwater elevation contour map for the monitoring event and an estimate <br /> of the groundwater gradient direction <br /> • Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field and <br /> laboratory work <br /> • Kleinfelder's conclusions and recommendations based on the data acquired <br /> ASSUMPTIONS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> • This proposal will be adequate to obtain authorization from SJCEHD. If a more <br /> comprehensive workplan is necessary, additional charge for workplan preparation <br /> will be incurred. <br /> • Adequate work space and access will be provided. Kleinfelder will attempt to <br /> advance the soil borings at the proposed locations. If the drilling equipment <br /> cannot be positioned, alternative drilling locations or sampling methods should be <br /> investigated. The borings are to be drilled with a truck mounted dnll rig <br /> equipped with hollow stem augers. If alternative drilling methods or concrete <br /> cutting are required, additional costs may be incurred. <br /> • No respiratory protection will be necessary. Also, no shoring will be necessary <br /> along sidewalls of the excavation <br /> • Soil and water generated during the drilling and sampling will be the <br /> responsibility of West Clay Properties. Soil cuttings will be placed on plastic and <br /> covered Water generated from development and/or purging the wells will be <br /> placed in 55-gallon drums and left on site Disposal or remediation options for <br /> the soil and water can be assessed once analytical results have been received. <br /> Kleinfelder can assist West Clay Properties with the disposal of soil and water if <br /> necessary <br /> • West Clay Properties will be responsible for locating all underground utilities and <br /> other subsurface structures that could interfere with drilling operations or be <br /> damaged during drilling. Failure to locate such lines or structures will be the sole <br /> responsibility of West Clay Properties.
