INTRODUCTION <br /> 1 , <br />' At the request of Ms Tina Mayhew of West Clay Properties, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared this work plan addendum for the installation of additional monitoring and <br />' extraction wells and performance of two ground water extraction pilot tests at the subject property <br /> Background information is summarized in the Quarterly Monitoring Report and Data Summary - <br /> December 1997 and the Quarterly Report- October 1999, both'prepared by AGE A location map <br />' is presented on Figure 1 <br /> The scope of work described in this work plan addendum was proposed to further delineate the <br />' vertical and horizontal extent of ground water and soil contamination at the former UST cluster <br /> location andthe former UST No 3 location further to the south In addition,24-hour aquifer pumping <br /> tests have been proposed to assess the general ground water aquifer characteristics and to assess <br /> aquifer response to ground water extraction at a constant puznpmg rate <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> This work plan has been prepared m accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br />' Board guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites The scope of work <br /> includes the following tasks <br />' Pernvttmg and pre-field work activities, <br /> • CPT drilling and ground water sample collection and analysis, <br />' Soil boring advancement and soil sample collection and analysis, <br /> • Extraction and monitoring well installation, development and sampling and analysis, <br /> r <br /> • <br /> Aquifer pumping tests, <br /> ' + Report preparation <br /> t , <br /> r <br /> r , <br /> ' 21 PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will, be obtained from the PHS-EHD and any necessary <br /> ' encroachment permits from the City of Stockton As required by PHS-EHD permitting, an up-dated <br /> 'health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance <br /> Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities(National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironwenta4Inc <br /> ` 1 t <br /> , t 4 <br /> S <br />
