w <br /> Advanced <br />'NP GeoEnvironmental, Inc. . <br /> 20 July 1999 R ED ,_ <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0580 J U L 21. 1999 <br /> ENVIRONMEWAL HEALTH <br /> Mr Jeff Wong PERMIT / SERVICES <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Work Plan Addendum -July 1999 <br /> WEST CLAY PROPERTIES <br /> 639 West Clay Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Dan Silva of West Clay Properties, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared the enclosed Work Plan Addendum for 639 West Clay <br /> • Street in Stockton, California(Figure I-Location Map) The purpose of the investigation is to assess <br /> areas of possible concern identified during a Phase I Site Assessment performed for the subject <br /> property This area includes a former service station, located at the current Burger King property, <br /> an abandoned mechanics pit inside the Quanset but and empty drum storage along the western <br /> property line The scope of work includes the advancement of three soil probe borings (probings) <br /> and collection of one grab water sample at the site <br /> One probing will be advanced at the southern extent of the site, adjacent to Burger King The <br /> probing will be advanced to a depth of approximately 45 feet below surface grade (bsg)with soil and <br /> agrab water samples collected A second probing will be advanced inside the Quanset Hut, adjacent <br /> to the mechanics pit with soil samples collected at 10 and 15 feet bsg The third probing will be <br /> advanced along the western property line, with samples collected at 2 and 5 feet bsg Borings may <br /> be extended to greater depths or additional borings advanced, based upon field data Structures,well <br /> s - and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan 1 <br /> Probing locations will be clearly marked aiid a utility clearance obtained through Underground <br /> Service Alert pnor to probing Field procedures for advancement of soil probe borings and collection <br /> of s011 and grab water samples were presented in the Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated <br /> 11 November 1996 arid prepared by AGE <br /> Selected samples will be transported to a California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified r <br /> • laboratory for analysis Samples collected near the Burger King will be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline(TPH-g)and diesel(TPH-d)and for volatile aromatics(benzene, <br /> 4005 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California 95205 <br /> Telephone (209)467-1006 FAX (209) 467-1118 <br />
