Advanced <br /> Ge oEnvironmental . Inc . <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> Fact Sheet <br /> Pending Case Closure for Leaking Underground Storage Tank Site <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE), on behalf of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(SJCEHD),invites public comment regarding the intentof the SJCEHDto grant regulatory closure <br /> for a leaking underground storage tank(LUST)case on the Site identified below. <br /> SUBJECT SITE: <br /> Site Name: Sarale Farms GeoTracker Global ID#T0607700601 <br /> Site Address: 16500 Clifton Court Road <br /> Stockton, San Joaquin County, California SJCEHD Site Code: 850 <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: 23 August—23 October 2013 <br /> CASE SUMMARY: <br /> SJCEHD and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), in cooperation with the <br /> property owner, Main Stone Corporation, the responsible party, Ms. Sandi Sarale of Sarale Farms, and <br /> environmental consultant,AGE, have evaluated soil and groundwater conditions,and health concerns at the <br /> subject Site resulting from historical releases of gasolinefrom an underground storagetank(UST)system and <br /> from fueling operations. The UST system, consisting of one 10,000-gallon UST and approximately 100 feet <br /> of associated piping, was removed from the Site in December 1992. <br /> Soil and groundwater investigations were conducted from 2002 to 2013. Gasoline hydrocarbons were <br /> detected in on-site soil and groundwater. Active remediation of soil and groundwater was not conducted <br /> during this period. In February 2013, a soil vapor investigation was conducted to evaluate the potential for <br /> indoor vapor intrusion into current and future Site buildings. On the basis of groundwater monitoring and <br /> previous and current investigations, the SJCEHD concluded that the Site status is protective of the <br /> environment and of human health for current and future Site use and for adjacent off-site areas. <br /> The SJCEHD submitted a Case Closure Summaryto the RWQCB in July 2013. The RWQCB concurred with <br /> the SJCEHD closure recommendation in August 2013. After receipt of notification that all case closure <br /> activities have been completed, the SJCEHD intends to issue a No Further Action Required letter for the <br /> subject Site. <br /> WHERE TO GET MORE INFORMATION <br /> Site information can be obtained from the GeoTrackerwebsite at http:/lgeotracker.waterboards.ca.gov/.
