Project No. E6576.001 Qoundwater Sampling/835 West Clover Road* 14 December 1995
Appendix C contains all associated hauling and receiving manifests for the contaminated
r soil.
Results:
C, The resulting laboratory reports are given in Appendix B. Analytical procedures
followed those outlined in "Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and
Investigation of Underground Tanks, Tri-Regional Recommendations" by the North Coast, San
Francisco Bay, and Central Valley California Regional Water Quality Control Boards as
supported by the "Leaking Underground Fuel Tank ('LUFT') Field Manual" by the State Water
Resources Control Board.
L, For both sampling events, non-detect was the result of analytical testing of the four
wells. It was recommended and agreed upon by Mr. Sasson that the closure request will be
processed when the samples show non-detectable levels of contaminants for two consecutive
sampling events. Therefore, this report is being forwarded to the following local implementing `
` agency for closure approval.
Environmental Health Division
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Attn: Mr. Steve Sasson, Senior REHS
PO Box 388
446 N. San Joaquin Street
Stockton, CA 95201-388
It is, therefore, our opinion that closure of the USTs be granted. At the time of closure, ,
all four monitoring wells will be decommissioned by high pressure grouting technique and
sealed with neat cement. Prior to decommissioning, a permit should be obtained; and the
actual grouting should be performed under the direction of the implementing agency.
TERRASEARCH, inc. Page 4
