Commerce <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD)has reviewed a letter <br /> dated July 15, 1993, from John P. Cummings and Associates about the stockpiled soil at the above referenced <br /> site. <br /> The letter states that the soil is not hazardous. PHS/EHD has not been provided any documentation of soil <br /> sampling and analysis of the stockpiled soil to show that the soil is nonhazardous. Please refer to the <br /> PHS/EHD letter dated June 22, 1993 regarding certification of soil prior to its transport (copy enclosed). <br /> Once the documentation that the soil is nonhazardous is provided to PHS/EHD the soil may be transported <br /> to 1111 N. Union . Prior to aeration, a permit must be obtained from San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution <br /> Control District and PHS/EHD should be provided a copy of the permit. Until the aeration permit is obtained <br /> the stockpiled soil shall remain covered. <br /> A workplan for installation of three monitoring wells was to be submitted by August 1, 1993.
