Box 2009 • (1601 East Hazelton Avenue) Stockton,California 95201 <br /> (209)468-3400 <br /> March 22, 1993 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation <br /> of an underground leaking storage tank site located at 729 S. Commerce, in <br /> the City of Stockton, has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). The plan is a <br /> proposal for the re-excavation of approximately 100 cubic yards of soil which <br /> was contaminated due to unauthorized releases associated with underground <br /> storage tanks (UST) which were located on the property. <br /> PHS/EHD, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a determination that <br /> the plan is in complicane with local, State and Federal laws and regulations <br /> and that the resultant work will not create significant adverse environmental <br /> impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the <br /> contamination. <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at the PHS/EHD, <br /> 445 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California, during normal working <br /> hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Final approval for the plan is scheduled for <br /> March 29, 1993. <br /> Questions should be directed to Margaret Lagorio, Senior REHS, at <br /> (209) 468-3449 regarding site specific procedures. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
