Commerce St., Stockton Dear Ms. Lagorio: This letter is with regard to your request for the completion of a workplan for site characterization at the referenced site. At the direction of our client, I began to compile the information necessary to prepare the appropriate workplan. In the process, however, I noticed that my file appeared to be somewhat incomplete, particularly with regard to sampling and analysis conducted during tank removal and over-excavation activities. Specifically, I do not have copies of lab data or project tabulations that document the following: • concentrations of hydrocarbon compounds in samples collected from beneath the subject tanks immediately following excavation, and • concentrations of hydrocarbons in samples collected following the second over- excavation event (referenced in your January, 1995 letter) reportedly completed in May of 1993. My file does contain a copy of the lab report documenting results of sample analysis associated with the first (March, 1993) over-excavation episode. I have had little success in locating the referenced material, and would like to copy this information from your file, should it exist in this location. Please phone me or write at your earliest convenience with information regarding what may be present in your file.
