The project lab (American Environmental Network, Inc. of
Pleasant Hill) will be in to create 2:1 composites for analysis of
concentrations of TPH as gasoline/BTEX and TPH as diesel. The lab will be
instructed to create 4:1 composites for samples to be tested by SPAM 8010 and for
corxcentrations of Cd, Cr, Zn, Ni, and Pb (per LTJFT Manual recommendations .for
urdmowns). Results will be available in 710 days.
Also as we discussed, acceptable "left in place" concentrations are .3 ppm for
benzene, 1 ppm for total xylenes, 100 ppm TPH as gas and 1,000 ppm TPH as diesel
per your analysis using the li aching potential criteria. We did not establish levels
for the 8010 compounds'or for metals.
I took forward to meeting you tomorrow morning.
