Comstock Road, Stockton, CA (Figure 1) <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll: <br /> Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. (Ground Zero) is pleased to present the results of the subsurface <br /> investigation conducted at the subject site. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The subject property is located at 11781 E. Comstock <br /> of the subject propertyalaornia, and is <br /> 1,000 gallon <br /> residential. According Mr. Fred Kreth, the owner <br /> underground storage tank (UST) was removed in 1981. The UST was located immediately east of <br /> a workshop and previously contained gasoline (Figure 2). No soil samples were collected at the <br /> time the UST was removed. A signed statement in accordance with Alternative 3 of San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) Abandoned Tank Policy is included in <br /> Attachment A. <br /> FIELD METHODS <br /> Fieldwork was conducted in accordance with the Workplan for Soil Boring Investigation (Ground <br /> Zero, April 9, 2002) approved by EHD. Prior to initiating fieldwork, soil boring permits were <br /> obtained from EHD. All fieldwork was performedlan on accordance <br /> file with EHD. the Ground Zero's Site <br /> Safety Plan and Quality Assurance/Quality Control <br /> On May 1 2002, Fisch Environmental (C57-683865) advanced two soil borings (SBI and S132) <br /> under the supervision of field geologist Sean Garvey, and project manager Greg Stahl, a California <br /> Registered Geologist. Boring S131 was advanced to a depth of approximately 21 feet below ground <br /> surface (bgs) within the former UST location, and bili ed aring Btruck mounted Geop 2 was advanced to pobe 5400 dire c <br /> feet bgs north of the former UST location.
