Former Countryside Market,Stockton,California
Feasibility Study and Interim Remedial Action Plan May 20,2013
Section 5.0- Proposed Feasibility Testing and Data Collection Plan
This section presents the testing details for confirming the viability of the selected groundwater remedial
technology, including data collection activities that will also serve to determiihe if one or more of the other
final alternative technologies requires closer consideration for potential incorporation into the proposed
interim and/or final cleanup strategy. This section also includes details for collecting soil physical
property and background geochemical/bioremediation indicator data, as well as potential vapor extraction
testing activities in the event the soil/soil gas data warrants this additional phase of work.
Section 6.0: Vertical Plume Delineation Assessment
This section presents the plan for assessing the migration of plume constituents that have been detected
in downgradient domestic wells, including video logging and cone penetration testing (CPT) activities,
which will be conducted first so that the resultsndings can be utilized to modify the proposed feasibility
testing/data collection plans (Section 5.0), if necessary.
Section 7.0: Interim Remedial Action Plan
This section provides details of the recommended interim remedial action for the Site, and the strategy
that will be employed to make adjustments to the plan based on the vertical plume delineation
assessment(Section 6.0), and feasibility testing data/results (Section 5.0). Niso included in this section is
a proposed long-term groundwater monitoring and sampling program.
Section 8.0: Soil and Groundwater Cleanup Criteria
This section specifies the soil and groundwater cleanup criteria for the Ste and surrounding area, and
presents the basis for potentially establishing interim cleanup levels within the plume as part of a final
RAP. Soil data proposed for collection during the feasibility testing phase (Section 5.0) will be compared
against the appropriate criteria to determine if vadose zone remedial acti fities are required to cleanup
residual impacts in the former UST area.
Section 9.0: Reporting
This section provides details associated with planned interim and ongoing progress reporting for the Site,
including the future utilization of soil data (proposed to be collected during feasibility testing and IRAP
implementation activities) to estimate the mass of petroleum hydrocarbons at the Site and surrounding
area.
Section 10.0: Estimated Proiect Schedule
This section provides an estimated project schedule from proposed fgasibility testing through Site
closure/post-remediation monitoring.
Section 11.0: References
This section provides citations to the documents referenced in this report.
Feasibility SWdy&IRAP—TW Fnel.dw 1-2 The Source Group,Inc.
