Box 2009
Stockton, Ca. 95201
RE: Well Construction Permit Application for Monitor Wells
Adjacent to LLNL Site 300
Dear Ms. Ratliff:
Enclosed is a Well Construction Permit Application for monitor wells to be
constructed in parcel T3S R4E 35A at the Gallo Ranch. We are installing
these wells at the request of the California Regional Water Quality Control
Board who want us to investigate the offsite extent of trichloroethylene in
shallow ground water. As is the case for all monitor wells that we install at
Site 300 and on adjacent property, these wells will be installed following all
San Joaquin County Local Health District rules and regulations.
I Piave enclosed the $89.00 Permit Application Filing Fee for these wells.
As in the past, I would appreciate your sending the approved Permit
Applications to me directly rather than to the drilling contractor.
If there is additional information that you require, please call me at
(510) 422-0757. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
ft J - '2gvf—
Albert L.
