LLi
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
October 23, 1990
c
Ms. Eleanor Ratliff 4+L0C%
San Joaquin County Local Health District '
P. O. Box 2009 'LIjeti I
Stockton, CA 95201 F
RE: Well Construction Permit Application for Monitor Wells Adj ce Ift to
LLNL Site 300
Dear Ms. Ratliff:
Enclosed is a Well Construction Permit Application for four monitor
wells to be constructed adjacent to LLNL Site 300. These monitor wells are
to be constructed in the southwest corner of Section 25, Township 3 South,
Range 4 East. The approximate locations of these monitor wells are shown
on the attached maps. These wells will be constructed on properties owned
by Connolly Ranch, Inc. We are installing these wells to investigate the
lateral and vertical extent of trichloroethylene in ground water. As is the
case for all monitor wells that we install at Site 300 and on adjacent
property, these wells will be installed following all San Joaquin County
Health District rules and regulations.
I have enclosed the $89.00 Permit Application Filing Fee for these
monitor wells. As in the past, I would appreciate your sending the
approved Permit Applications to me directly rather than to the drilling
contractor. I would also appreciate 10 more blank permit application
forms, such as the one that is enclosed.
If there is additional information that you require, please call me at
(415)422-0757.
Qeaw,
Sincerely yours, 0
Albert Lamarre
Project Leader
Environmental Restoration Division
cc:
R.
