CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br /> NPDES NO. 0082651 <br /> FOR <br /> UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA <br /> LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL LABORATORY SITE 300 <br /> AND <br /> THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY <br /> ALAMEDA AND SAN JOAQUIN COUNTIES <br /> Specific sample station locations shall be established with concurrence of the Board <br /> staff, and a description of the stations shall be attached to this Order. <br /> INFLUENT MONITORING <br /> Samples shall be collected at approximately the same time as effluent samples and shall <br /> be representative of the influent for the period sampled. Samples shall be analyzed <br /> twice monthly for the first three months of operation and monthly thereafter. The <br /> following shall constitute the influent monitoring program: <br /> Type of <br /> Constituent Units Sample <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Grab <br /> Volatile Organic Compounds) Ag/l Grab <br /> Flow gallons per day Cumulative <br /> 1 Samples shall be analyzed by EPA Methods 601 and 602. <br /> EFFLUENT MONITORING <br /> Effluent samples shall be collected downstream from the last connection through which <br /> wastes can be admitted into the outfall . Samples shall be representative of the volume <br /> and nature of the discharge. Samples shall be analyzed twice monthly for the first <br /> three months of operation and monthly thereafter. Time of collection of a grab sample <br /> shall be recorded. The following shall constitute the effluent monitoring program: <br /> Type of <br /> Constituents Units Sample <br /> Total Dissolved mg/l Grab <br /> Solids <br /> Volatile Organic Compounds) jig/l Grab <br /> Flow gallons per day Cumulative <br /> 1 Samples shall be analyzed by EPA Methods 601 and 602. <br />
