These two wells are part of our continuing investigation
of ground water in the area. The Regional Water Quality Control Board
(RWQCB) is the lead regulatory agency. You already have our application
for permits for these wells.
The items enclosed are:
1. A check for $35.00 for consultation service document review;
2. A copy of the Right of Entry Agreement with Connolly Ranch, Inc.
giving Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory permission to drill
the two wells, and to acquire all necessary permits;
3. Our Work Plan for Fiscal Year 1988, and the RWQCB's acceptance of
that plan. Note that the two proposed monitoring wells are in
the General Services Area and are part of Task 4, described on
page 6;
The proposed monitoring well sites are about 200 ft. from the nearest
creek, greater than 100 ft. from any animal corral, and greater than 50
ft. from any seepage pits, sumps, or disposal ponds. Because time is of
the essence, we hope you can complete your review soon. Please telephone
me at (415) 422-0757 if I can expedite the process in any way.
Sincerely,
I& —d-C&"45
Albert L.
