Please see the attached"Figure 3" for the SMU #21 facility showing the <br /> Proposed New Well directly east of the tank and at the southern boundary of the SMU#21 area of concern. <br /> As you are aware, seven(7) monitoring wells have been installed at the site and these are currently under a <br /> quarterly monitoring plan. The most recent sampling and analysis round occurred in September 2004. The <br /> three (3)previous sampling and analysis rounds occurred in June, 2004, March 2004 d in January 2004. <br /> The DTSC has requested additional information on this site and the Proposed New Well is expected to <br /> yield this data for better definition of the subsurface conditions and to observe any trends of attenuation of <br /> the petroleum-type materials known to have a presence in the vicinity of SMU 421. <br /> The work is proposed to start on October 26,2004.
