Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> hi— <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> JIM HESSLER <br /> CONNOLY RANCH INC <br /> PO BOX 811 <br /> TRACY CA 95378 3 0 1995 <br /> RE: CASTLE ROCK FIRE STATION SITE CODE: 1900 <br /> 34580 CORRAL HOLLOW ROAD <br /> TRACY CA 95376 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has <br /> reviewed the Revised Technical Workplan - Hydropunch and Sampling Program dated January <br /> 9, 1995 which was submitted by Tetra Tech Inc. for the above referenced site. <br /> The workplan describes the site location and subsurface conditions, summarizes the previous site <br /> activities, and proposes a scope of work which will adequately characterize residual soil <br /> contamination which is present, and groundwater contamination which may be present, from the <br /> underground storage tank (UST) which was removed from this site June 29, 1993. <br /> The detection limits used for Laboratory analysis shall follow Tri-Regional and LUFT guidelines. <br /> Soil samples shall be analyzed at the following detection limits: <br /> BTEX .005 ppm Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylene <br /> TPH-g 1.0 ppm Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as-gas <br /> TPH-d 10 ppm Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> Water samples shall be analyzed at the following detection limits: <br /> BTE .3 ppb Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene <br /> X .6 ppb Xylene <br /> TPH-g 50 ppb Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gas <br /> TPH-d 50 ppb Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> A Waste Extraction Test (WET) as described in Title 22, section 66700 of the California Code <br /> of Regulations (CCR) shall be performed if the result of laboratory analysis for lead is greater <br /> than 10 times the Soluble Threshold Limit Concentration (STLC). <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Servkes <br />
