Ingestion causes throat, lung, and stomach irritation. Skin <br /> exposure causes a burning sensation. <br /> Xylene: <br /> A component of gasoline can cause minor effects to the pulmonary system. Xylene can <br /> cause acute Central Nervous System Depression. <br /> Additional Hazards on-site: <br /> Hazards include trauma from heavy equipment accidents during soil excavation. <br /> Potential explosion/fire hazards from diesel in soil.
