k'q KLEINFELDER
f
4 2 1 Groundwater Sampling Results (Mission Area)
A total of 9 groundwater samples were collected from pushprobe locations GP-8 through GP-16
The groundwater samples in the Mission Area were collected on April 15, 2003
' Based on the results summarized in Table 1 located in the Appendix, up to seven (7) analytes from
the requested suite of analyses (See Section 3 3) were detected in groundwater samples from the
' Mission Area The following is a summary of the concentration ranges and values detected for
these 7 analytes
rTPH-G 0 20 to 4 3 mg/l
Benzene 990 µg11
Toluene 15 µg11
EthY lbenzene 210 µg11
' Total Xylenes 0 79 to 301tg/l
MTBE 5 5 to 86 µg/1
Total Lead 0 36 to 1 3 mg/l
Based on the findings it appears the majority of the volatile organic compounds and petroleum
I
constituents in groundwater are located in proximity to pushprobe location GP-12 Benzene,
toluene, ethylbenzene and MTBE were detected only in the groundwater sample collected from
GP-12, although MTBE was detected at pushprobe GP-8 at 5 5 µg/1 GP-8 is located about 55
' feet east of GP-12 The extent of the relatively elevated concentrations of petroleum constituents
near GP-12 appears to attenuate within 60 feet to the west, approximately 100 feet to the south
on Mission Road and within approximately 55 feet east of GP-12
TPH-G was detected in GP-12, GP-13 and GP-15 covering an area approximately 120 west and
100 south from the intersection of Country Club Boulevard and Mission Road Trace
concentrations of total xylenes were detected in five of the pushprobe locations (GP-12 through
GP-16) Total xylenes and the requested analytes (See Section 3 3) were not detected in
groundwater from the three eastern-most pushprobes along Country Club Boulevard (GP-9, GP-10
' and GP-11) These pushprobe locations span approximately 160 linear feet beginning about 80
feet east of the intersection of Mission Road and Country Club Boulevard and extending eastward
' 422. Groundwater Sampling Results (Pershing Area)
' A total of b groundwater samples were collected form pushprobe locations GP-17 through GP-22
The groundwater samples in the Pershing Area were collected on April 18, 2003
' From the six groundwater samples collected in the Pershing Site area, only two analytes, the
oxygenate DIPE and total lead were detected DIPE was detected at a trace level of 1 5 µg11 from
pushprobe location GP-18 GP-18 is located approximately 80 feet east of the intersection of
28699 E01 /5T03R793 Page 9 of 16
Copyright 2003,Kleinfelder, Inc July 21,2003
