Subject: RE: 1267 Country Club Stockton,Ca
Hi Angelica,
Thanks for the groundwater data. Chromium is a bit high at 130 ug/L(50 ug/L is the water quality
objective, WQO). Otherwise the data looks good. Any plating shops nearby?
My notes show that the consultant (CRA)was evaluating the case under the LTCP during the second
quarter, and CRA said so again in the 3Q2013 status letter. The LTCP evaluation isn't on GeoTracker.
Did CRA submit the LTCP evaluation?
The GeoTracker path to closure page lists vapor intrusion as an impediment to closure with conditions
that do not meet the LTCP, but also says that the step to resolve impediment is that the case is being
considered for closure. This is very unusual, since closing a case doesn't resolve the impediment. Please
provide additional clarification.
Finally I asked for mass estimates and time to reach WQOs during the 9 October 2013 meeting. Is CRA
going to provide them?
Thanks.
Jim Barton
James L. L. Barton P. In order for EHD to
move forward on the case closure summary, you had requested the additional sampling due to the waste
oil tank issue. I have attached the analytical report for the additional analytes tested. With your
concurrence, the EHD can proceed with the Case Closure Summary.
Thanks
Angelica
Angelica Sandoval Marin, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Depart.
1868 E.
