(RWQCB)guidelines <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> Site Location and Description <br /> The subject site is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Country Club Boulevard <br /> and Pershing Avenue in a mixed commercial and residential area of Stockton, California <br /> (Figure 1) The subject site is presently occupied by a credit union The site was developed in <br /> 1949 as a Shell-branded service station, which ceased operation in 1974 A total of four fuel <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) and one waste oil UST were operated as part of this service <br /> station The approximate locations of these tanks are shown on Figure 2 <br /> Previous Work <br /> 1995 Soil Borings- During April 1995, Geosystem Consultants, Inc (Geosystem) of Irvine, <br /> Cambria California drilled eight soil borings (B-1 through B-8) Soil samples were collected from all the <br /> Environmental borings and groundwater samples were collected from three of the bonngs (B-2, B-3, and B-6) <br /> Technology, Inc <br /> Total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd) were detected in soil from bonngs B-1 through <br /> Hollis Street B-7 at concentrations up to 700 parts per nullion (ppm) Total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> ite A <br /> Emeryville CA 94608 <br /> Tel(510)420-0700 <br /> Fax(510)420-9170 <br />
