CAB R I A <br /> Permits Drilling permit No 0034707 was obtained from SJCEHD and an <br /> encroachment permit (No 68015) was obtained through the City <br /> of Stockton (Appendix B) <br /> Drilling Company: Gregg In Situ, Inc (Gregg) of Martinez, California(C57 License <br /> No 656407) <br /> Drilling Dates August 4 through 7, 2003 <br /> Drilling Method CPT <br /> Sampling Methods Soils beneath the site were continuously logged using CPT <br /> equipment Encountered soils are described on the CPT plots <br /> presented in Appendix C Soil samples were collected from <br /> bonngs CPT-3 through CPT-7 at five-foot intervals to 15 fbg <br /> Discrete groundwater samples were collected from borings <br /> CPT-3 and CPT-5 at approximate depths of 41, 71, and 93 to 97 <br /> • fbg Groundwater samples were collected from borings CPT4 <br /> and CPT-6 at depths of approximately 41 to 42, 70, 85 to 86, and <br /> 92 to 96 fbg Groundwater samples were also collected from <br /> boring CPT-7 at approximate depths of 68 and 96 fbg Cambria <br /> also attempted to sample the 79 fbg depth in this boring, but <br /> there was insufficient water to collect a sample Discrete <br /> groundwater samples were collected with CPT sampling <br /> equipment <br /> Number of Borings Five soil borings (CPT-3 through CPT-7) Boring specifications <br /> are described in Table 1 and locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> Boring Depths• Approximately 100 fbg <br /> Groundwater Depths: Dunng drilling activities, pore pressure dissipation tests <br /> indicated groundwater depths in the borings ranged from <br /> approximately 5 to 16 fbg This depth to water range is <br /> generally consistent with recent depth to water measurements in <br /> site monitoring wells <br /> 0943 4 <br />
