CAMBRIA <br /> January 15, 2000 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Fourth Quarter 1999 <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1267 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 129480 <br /> Incident No 97093419 <br /> SJCPHS Code 505602 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This report describes the recently completed activities associated with groundwater <br /> monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Figures 1 and 2) This report was prepared to <br /> meet reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling for the fourth quarter is summarized below <br /> ® Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured groundwater <br /> levels and collected samples from wells S-i through S-6 on November 22, 1999 <br /> Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical (Sequoia) in Morgan Hill, California <br /> for chemical analyses <br /> a Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level <br /> measurement data and prepared a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map <br /> (Figure 2) Groundwater flow direction is generally northerly an approximate <br /> Oakland CA hydraulic gradient of 0 001 <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR . Groundwater samples collected from wells S-1 through S-3 contained TPHg <br /> Seattle WA concentrations ranging from 170 to 33,000 ppb, TPHd concentrations ranging from <br /> Cambria 276 to 8,840 ppb, and benzene concentrations ranging from 0 58 to 150 ppb <br /> EnvlTonmental Groundwater samples collected from wells S-4, S-5, and S-6 did not contain detectable <br /> Technology,Inc levels of TPHg, TPHd, or benzene MTBE (by EPA Method 8260A) was not <br />*Perkins Street detected in any of the wells at the site this quarter <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
