C A M B R I A <br /> July 8, 1999 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Second Quarter 1999 <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1267 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> WIC #204-7524-0204 <br /> Dear Mr lnfurna <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates I and 2) This report was <br /> prepared to meet reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> Central Valley Region and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling for the second quarter is summarized below <br /> ® Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured groundwater <br /> levels and collected samples from Wells S-1 through S-6 on May 6, 1999 Samples <br /> were transported to Sequoia Analytical (Sequoia) in San Carlos, Sacramento and <br /> Morgan Hill, California for chemical analysis <br /> • Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level <br /> measurement data and prepared a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map <br /> (Plate 2) Groundwater flow direction ranges from northwesterly to northeasterly at <br /> an approximate hydraulic gradient of 0 002 <br /> Oakland CA 0 Groundwater samples collected from Wells S-1 through S-4 contained TPPH at <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR concentrations ranging from ND to 17,600 ppb, TEPH at concentrations ranging <br /> Seattle WA from 73 6 ppb to 6,480 ppb, and benzene at concentrations ranging from ND to 140 <br /> ppb Groundwater samples collected from Wells S-5 and S-6 did not contain <br /> Gatmbna <br /> Environmental detectable levels of TPPH, TEPH or BTEX MTBE was not detected in any of the <br /> Technology,inc wells <br /> Perkins Street <br /> Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
