C A M B R I A <br /> February 15, 1999 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Fourth Quarter 1998 <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1267 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> WIC 4204-7524-0204 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates l and 2) This report <br /> was prepared to meet reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br />• Ground water monitoring and sampling for this quarter are summarized below <br /> o Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured ground water <br /> levels and collected samples from Wells S-1 through S-6 on November 10, 1998 <br /> Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical (Sequoia) in Redwood City, California <br /> for chemical analysis <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level <br /> measurement data and prepared a ground water contour/chemical concentration map <br /> (Plate 2) Ground water flow direction ranges from northwesterly to northeasterly at <br /> an approximate hydraulic gradient of 0 001 <br /> Oakland CA . Ground water samples collected from Wells S-1 through S-4 contained TPPH at <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> P o r t l a n d OR concentrations ranging from ND to 19,000 ppb, TEPH at concentrations ranging <br /> Seattle WA from 130 ppb to 4,100 ppb, and benzene at concentrations ranging from ND to 100 <br /> ppb Ground water samples collected from Wells S-5 and S-6 did not contain <br /> Cambria detectable levels of TPPH, TEPH, BTEX, or MTBE MTBE was only detected in <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,Inc the sample collected from Well S-2 at a concentration of 34 ppb <br /> qPerkins <br /> Street <br /> Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
