en Vitus. <br /> Project-Specific Safety Requirements <br /> Required Safety Training <br /> All personnel performing field work for this project must have completed a 40-hour OSHA <br /> training course as specified in 29 CFR 1910 120 Verification cards for the 40-hour <br /> training course and 8-hour refresher course must be current and brought to the project site <br /> This is the responsibility of each Enviros employee and subcontractor working on this <br /> project <br /> Enviros subcontractors are responsible for furnishing their own safety equipment and <br /> maintaining compliance to the requirements of this safety plan This plan will be presented <br /> prior to beginning work at the site and shall be signed by all personnel involved in the field <br /> work <br /> Personal Protection <br /> The level of protection is EPA Level D <br /> Recommended Equipment Hard hat <br /> Safety boots <br /> Safety glasses (for splash protection, if necessary) <br /> . Optional Equipment Rubber gloves <br /> Organic Vapor Meter <br /> Tyvek coveralls (if required) <br /> Respirator with organic vapor/acid gas cartridge <br /> Site Control <br /> Site control will be the responsibility of the on-site field geologist or engineer Use of <br /> barricades and flagging may be necessary to maintain site control Under no circumstances <br /> will the general public be allowed in the work area If public endangerment is suspected, <br /> work will cease until the situation is remedied <br /> A work zone of approximately 25 feet around the drill rig will be maintained when it is <br /> practical and location(s) and logistics permit the establishment of such an area <br /> Required permits by local agencies (if required) will be obtained prior to beginning work <br /> Any safety requirements in addition to those presented in this plan will be added as an <br /> addendum <br /> 2 <br />
