Site Investigation Report <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1267 Country Club Blvd <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This report documents drilling activities performed by Enviros, Inc (Enviros) on behalf of <br /> Shell Oil Products Company (Shell) at the above referenced site (Plates l and 2) The <br /> work included drilling five exploratory soil borings, collecting soil and ground water <br /> samples for analysis, and preparation of this report <br /> This work was performed in accordance Enviros' December 23, 1996 "Work Plan" and <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) and Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board guidelines <br /> 1.4 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject property is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Country Club <br /> Boulevard and Pershing Avenue and is presently occupied by a vacant bank building <br /> According to information contained in the "Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment" <br /> dated August 1995, prepared by Geosystem Consultants, Inc (GCI), the site was <br /> developed in 1949 as a Shell service station, which operated until 1974 A total of four <br /> gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) and one waste oil UST were operated as part <br /> of the service station The approximate locations of these tanks are shown on Plate 2 <br /> Eight soil borings were drilled and soil samples were collected by GCI during April 1995 <br /> Ground water samples were also collected from three of the borings Samples were <br /> analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons calculated as Gasoline and Diesel (TPH-G and <br /> TPH-D) and Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes (BTEX) Samples in the <br /> vicinity of the former waste oil tank were also analyzed for Total Recoverable Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons (TRPH) <br /> Concentrations of TPH-G in soils ranged from non-detect (ND) to 1900 parts per million <br /> (ppm) TPH-D concentrations ranged from ND to 700 ppm Benzene concentrations <br /> ranged from ND to 3 9 ppm <br /> enviroo, lrnc 270 Perk Ins Street Sonoma Calrforma Tot 707/935 4850 <br /> P 0 Box 259 95476 0259 Fax 7071935 6649 <br />
