C A M BRI A r <br /> • <br /> July 15, 2000 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Second Quarter 2000 <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1267 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 129480 <br /> Incident No 97093419 <br /> SJCPHS Code 505602 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This report describes the recently completed activities associated with groundwater monitoring <br /> and sampling at the referenced site (Figures 1 and 2) This report was prepared to meet <br /> reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley <br /> Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) <br /> Quarterly Monitonncg & Samp%ng Summery <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling for the second quarter is summarized below <br /> o Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured groundwater levels <br /> in wells S-1 through S-6 and collected groundwater samples from wells S-1 through S-4 <br /> on May 3, 2000 Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical (Sequoia) in Morgan <br /> Hill, California for chemical analyses <br /> o Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level measurement <br /> data and prepared a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map (Figure 2) <br /> Groundwater flow direction varies from northwesterly to northeasterly at an <br /> approximate hydraulic gradient ranging from 0 001 to 0 003 <br /> Oakland CA <br /> San Ramon CA <br /> Sonoma, CA 0 Groundwater samples collected from wells S-1 and S-2 contained TPHg concentrations <br /> Portland, OR of 1,040 and 17,100 ppb, respectively, and benzene concentrations of 40 1 to 110 ppb, <br /> respectively TPHd was detected in wells S-1 through S-3 at concentrations ranging <br /> Cambria <br /> Environmental from 94 6 to 3,330 ppb MTBE (by EPA Method 8260A) was detected only in well S-2 <br /> Technology,Inc at a concentration of 22 2 ppb <br /> Perkins Street <br /> 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
