r <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> BP STATION NO. 11192 <br /> 1403 COUNTRY CLUB BOULEVARD <br /> STOCKTON,CALIFORNIA <br /> Site Location <br /> The site Is located at 1403 Country Club Boulevard in Stockton, California. It is situated on <br /> the northwest comer of the intersection of Country Club Boulevard and Pershing Avenue. The <br /> area surrounding the site is mainly residential in character. The elevation of R.9 site properly <br /> Is approximately six feet above mean sea level, and groundwater exists approximately thirty <br /> feet below the ground surface. Groundwater flows towards the northeast. <br /> Site History <br /> BP Station No. 11192 was built in 1976 and operated by Mobil Oil Company until May 1989 <br /> when the station was purchased by BP Oil. Ur?ited site assessment activities were conducted <br /> prior to the sale to determine onsite sor.and groundwater quality. Results of the assessment <br /> revealed the presence of gasoline In the soils southeast of the former pump islands and along <br /> 4 the eastern property boundary. <br /> s A series of seven groundwater monitoring wells have been installed onsite to facilitate soil ani; <br /> groundwater sampling. Laboratory analysis of these samples has revealed the presence of <br /> gasoline in the soli and the groundwater. <br /> The station closed for renovation in January 1991. In February the tanks and dispenser <br /> Islands were removed. <br /> To date the gasoline source has been removed and the extent of gasoline migration in soil <br /> has been defined. IT Corporation Is currently conducting limited offsite groundwater sampling <br /> activities to aid In defining the extent of gasoline migration In groundwater. <br /> Proposed Activities <br /> In the near future, IT will be conducting a test of the soil vapor collection system to determine <br /> ------.-- -- --.----whe;her-it-will be effective in removing hydrocarbons-from the soil and eventually the ---- ------- --------------- --- <br /> r+u�nm-marlusm�no6a.p� 1 <br />
