S EC ® R <br /> f` <br /> • QUARTERLY MONITORING AND <br /> REMEDIAL PERFORMANCE SUMMARY REPORT , <br /> Fourth Quarter 2005 <br /> 76 Service Station No 11192 <br /> 1403 West County Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> City/County ID Stockton <br /> County San Joaquin <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at 1403 West Country Club Boulevard in Stockton, California, and is <br /> currently an operating 76 service station The operating facility consists of a station <br /> building, a car wash, an auto service bay, an oil change building, four dispenser islands, <br /> a canopy, three 10,000-gallon gasoline (double-walled) underground storage tanks <br /> (USTs), one 2,500-gallon waste oil UST (operated by others), and associated product <br /> lines <br /> The site was operated as a gasoline service station by Mobil Oil Company (Mobil), <br /> following the installation of two 10,000-gallon unleaded gasoline USTs, one 10-000- <br /> gallon leaded gasoline UST, three 3,000-gallon motor oil USTs, and one 3,000-gallon <br /> used oil UST, associated piping and dispensers, and other facility structures in 1976 <br /> The site was purchased by BP Oil (BP) in May 1989 The site was operated under BP <br /> ownership until Tosco Corporation (now ConocoPhillips) assumed operations in 1994 <br /> Properties in the site vicinity are primarily residential and commercial developments A <br /> former Shell Service Station was located across Pershing Avenue, east of the site (1267 <br /> Country Club Boulevard) <br /> PREVIOUS ASSESSMENT <br /> In order to facilitate the sale of the property to BP, Mobil retained Target Environmental <br /> Services, Inc to perform a soil gas survey in March of 1989 Benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and xylenes (collectively BTEX) and other volatile organic compounds <br /> were reported in samples from beneath the site The area of greatest impact was in the <br /> vicinity of the pump islands (international Technology Corporation [IT], Underground <br /> Storage Tank Closure Report, April 1991) BP subsequently submitted an unauthorized <br /> release report to San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) in July <br /> 1989 (IT, Intenm Assessment Report, December 5, 1991) <br /> On April 26 and 27, 1990, IT oversaw the installation of four groundwater monitoring <br /> wells (MW-1 through MW-4) at the site The wells were installed at 30 feet below ground <br /> surface (bgs) With the exception of minor concentrations of benzene and ethylbenzene <br /> • in a 20-foot sample from boring MW-3, soil samples did not contain detectable <br /> concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons Groundwater samples from wells MW-1 and h <br /> I 18P-ARM111921ReportslQMR-QRPS120051402005 QSSR and QRPS doc <br />
