INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Phil Elder of Country Club Food and Fuel,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 1856 Country Club Boulevard, <br /> Stockton, California (site) The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water and to characterize ground water elevation, now <br /> direction and gradient on the site The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 On- <br /> site structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> ' Background information and ground water monitoring procedures for the site are described in the <br /> AGE-prepared work plan titled Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated 29 December 1999 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB)and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines <br /> ' for investigating underground storage tank(UST)sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 28 June 2002, ground water monitoring and sampling were performed on wells MW 1 through <br /> ' MW4 Prior to sampling, the depth to ground water was measured from the top of each well casing <br /> to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solmst water level meter The ground water elevation in each well <br /> ' was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from surveyed casing elevation <br /> (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were gauged, each monitoring well was purged of standing water utilizing new, <br /> disposable bailers Approximately 6 5 to 7 gallons of water(a minimum of casing-water volumes) <br /> were removed from each well Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at <br /> regular intervals during purging using an Hydac water analyzer Field sheets and data are included <br /> m Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled,55-gallon DOT-approved drums pending <br /> proper disposal <br /> 22 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> ' Water samples were collected from the purged wells using new disposable plastic bailers after <br /> lie allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume Each water <br /> Advanced GeoEnvlronmental,Inc <br />
