i • <br /> 19 June 1998 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0465 <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br /> 11 Log soil sample duplicates in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System <br /> 12 Backfill each probe boring to surface grade utilizing a tremae pipe and Portland type II <br /> cement <br /> 13 Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State-certified laboratory for TPH-g, BTE&X, <br /> MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, TBA in accordance with EPA methods 8015, 8020 and 8260 <br /> 4 2 GROUND WATER SAMPLING <br /> If ground water Is encountered during probing activities, then grab ground water samples will be <br /> collected from selected soil probe borings The following procedures will be performed <br /> 1 Collect a grab ground water sample from selected probings Ground water samples will be <br /> collected using a Geoprobe water sampling assembly A ground water sample will be <br /> collected at each sampling point ;n 40-m1 VOA vials containing hydrochloric acid as <br /> preservative <br /> . 2 Transmit each ground water sample to a State-certified laboratory under chain-of-custody <br /> procedure <br /> 3 Analyze each ground water sample for TPH-g, BTE&X, MTBE and oxygenates (MTBE, <br /> DIPE, ETBE, TAME and TBA) in accordance with EPA methods 8015m, 602, 8260 <br /> 4 3 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of probing, sampling and laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> summarizing results of the work performed The report will include recommendations for additional <br /> investigation or remediation, if necessary The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD <br /> and CVRWQCB and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> Advanced GeoEnvwcamental,Inc <br />
