Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Ref : Workplan for soil & groundwater investigation, 1876 County
Club Drive, Stockton; site code 1844
Dear Michael ;
On June 30, 1995, we submitted a workplan for placing seven (7)
test points, (soil probes, ) in an attempt to determine the
lateral limits of the soil & groundwater contamination which are
believed to extend to the north and west of the property.
Although the type of equipment to be used was not specified, it
was originally planned to use a conventional auger rig to perform
that task. However, we now propose to utilize push-type
equipment, (Geoprobe or similar, ) and analyze soil & water
samples on site with a State Certified portable lab. We plan to
use Transglobal Environmental Geochemistry, Inc, (TEG, ) equipment
& lab to do the work. If you approve of this change, please
confirm the workplan revision in writing so that we can prepare a
package to be sent to the State Cleanup Fund staff for
pre-approval of the work. Once that approval is received, we
will notify you & discuss procedures for submitting a drilling
permit application.
We will also have to obtain the necessary right--of--way permits
from the County prior to doing the work; (this location is
outside of City limits. )
A copy of the revised workplan is attached.
S in/ce a y,
W
Wm. J n er & ssociates
cc: M. anchez
